Street Gig - Snogging Each Others Faces Off

There's someone busking really loud along by boots. This distracts me enough that I connect the gigbox battery positive to negative. Smoke starts coming out of the amps. But no noise. this is *BAD*.
Head back to get my backup amp. This is only working on one channel, and it doesn't sound as good. But it keeps me going all night, which is a very, very good thing.
The whole night is absolute utter LUNACY! keep losing control of the mic, keep losing control of everything. So it's no surprise that wires are stopping working by the end, and my mic stand is now bent way over to the right.
Tibbs, Justy and Marco are back and they've brought along Samantha. The whole foursome spend just about the whole night snogging each others faces off, but they do stop long enough for a four way sing-a-long of 'Umbrella'.
I have no problem whatsoever with people getting off with each other while I'm playing. I take it as a huge compliment.
Anyway, big shouts to Poppy, Tibbly Wibbly, Justy, Marco, Samantha, Craig, Steve-O, Birthday Stewart, Birthday Michelle, Bandy, and all the others. I love Bandy, he's ace.
Not good financially, for some reason I can't figure out yet. Loads of fresh students. Loads of punters. Not much cash. Dunno why.
